Perhaps my Favorite Hymn is the inspiration for the name of this blog. My favorite verse is below.

He left His Father’s throne above
So free, so infinite His grace—
Emptied Himself of all but love,
And bled for Adam’s helpless race:

I don’t thing there is any better description of the prophetic fulfillment of Jesus’ Life, Death, and Resurrection
